  • k-5th grade students are enrolled in art 1 time per cycle, 6th graders meet every other day, and 7th grade is 2x a cycle.  Art teachers work very closely with teachers of subjects throughout the building to develop creative projects that help students to develop their skills in visual arts, and also make connections in many other disciplines

In addition to the above each teacher prepares art shows to highlight each student's work throughout the school year.  Check the school calendar for art shows beginning in April!

Each year we also hold a district art-show, highlighting the work of our most dedicated young artists.  This year's show is on April 10, 2025 at Mineola HS in the lobby and on the auditorium stage starting at 5pm-7pm.
